What Will I Learn During the workshop?
In this 2-day, hands-on workshop, you will learn:
Mr. Troshin’s entire process — from preparing an image and making a stencil to tattooing using different techniques of shading with detailed round liner needles.
Healing regimens to prescribe to your clients for the best-looking results
How to photograph your completed work, which can help you build your portfolio and attract more of the clients who will love your style
All supplies are provided and include the exact same set-up that Dmitry uses daily, including the Bishop 4.2 Packer WAND and B-Charged wireless power supply. Not only will you get to practice using his chosen supplies, but you will also get to take it all home with you to continue working with the best equipment available!
What Happens During the workshop?
DAY ONE:
The day starts with a guided tour — led by Franco Vescovi himself — of Bishop Rotary HQ, where all the machines are built and tested
You’ll discover Dmitry’s tattoo design process and how he makes his stencils
You’ll learn how principles of academic drawing can help you improve your techniques
You’ll find out how to make great pictures of your tattoos and edit them quickly
To prepare for day 2, you’ll warm up by doing some tattooing exercises on practice skin using your new tools
DAY TWO:
The day will start with some tattoo-critique and discussion of how to improve your works
You’ll get hands-on experience by tattooing an image that Dmitry has picked out
Dmitry will observe your methods, provide guidance, and offer direct feedback to help you get better results
If you don’t finish the piece by the end of the day, you can continue at home using all the tools and materials you’ll get at the seminar
You’ll get homework to do after the seminar to continue improving your skills
During the workshop, a light continental breakfast and catered lunch will be provided.
